AI is hailed as the latest, greatest thing. And it can be an amazing tool for money-saving efficiency, but what happens when it fails to work as intended? This really happened. Below is a copy of the email sent:
Dear anonymous name,
Like yourself, I have a very low threshold for wasting time. In an effort to follow-up on our recent conversation, I called and was greeted by your AI receptionist.
At first, I was impressed and was intending to compliment you on it. But after several attempts to confirm a time to set up a call, and where it said, “confirmed”; it was only to be followed by “I am sorry, but this time is not available.”
WTF!!! Six attempts and 7 minutes later I gave up. Then there was this message which came across my screen stating:
“Thank you for your Call. I confirmed your meeting with Anonymous Name on Tuesday, Mar 3 at 4:00 PM for 30 minutes.”

However, this was one of the times that was declined because you were already booked. So what is it, confirmed or not?
If you were one of my clients, I would advise you to get rid of this or fix it. Because it could be costing you both business and credibility. I like you and am telling you this because others may not.
